Summary/Abstract: The manuscript is an icon-painting manual (herminion) from the late Prof. K. Mirchev's archive and is of special interest not only from a linguistic point of view but also to the historians of monumental painting from the National Revival period. Herminions are books containing instructions to icon-painters and they precisely define the system of icon-painting in orthodox temples. A separate part provides description of the preparing and making of the materials and paints to be used in the temple decoration.
