Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, some media organizations don't state the reality in the news texts adequately. In such cases readers try to complete the missing parts of the text by joining in the process with their interpretations to express the reality which has not been expressed in the news text. Readers can bring the news texts up for discussion in the context of information which has not been expressed by the news texts. The self-censorship mechanisms which media organizations develop, because of their relations based on profit, in other words, because of their relationship with the political power, and their own property conditions, hinder the construction of news objectively. In sum, liberal media does not tell the truth or possible consequences of the events in the news text, but allows reader to adopt an attitude in that direction. Thus readers take the responsibility partially. In this study features of texts and types of readers are emphasized and focused on various reception theories.
