Summary/Abstract: In the article the author presents basic information about literary works by German Sadulaev. The particular attention is given to the book I am a Chechen where the author writes about the war, his childhood, friends and relatives, and which became the material for the analysis of Russian postcolonial identity. The article also presents opinions of one of the most prominent researchers of this subject — Madina Tlostanova.
