Summary/Abstract: The Hittites who founded the first central political state of Anatolia went to a careful institutionalization in the field of law as well as in military, political, economic and social areas and from the time of "Old State" they prepared and recorded various provisions of the law. These are edicts, wills, instructions related to the functioning of the state and Hittite law which consists of 200 items and contains in many fields provisions such as agriculture, production, criminal law and family law.
