Summary/Abstract: This study is aimed to investigate the effect on female labor force participation rate of annual percentage growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) per capita. In the first part of study, socio-economic factors affecting female force labor participation have been viewed by searching the literature. In the second part, the variables that are the labor force participation rates of women and men between the ages of 15-64 and the GDP per capita growth were analyzed using the panel data method for the period 2000-2016 in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia as known Baltic countries. It has been determined that the presence of time effect and random effect in the model. When the deviations from the assumptions are corrected, the GDP per capita growth resulting in the decrease in female force labor participation rate, but no statistically significant effect on men's force labor participation rate. The increase in economic opportunities affects female force labor participation rate negatively.
