Summary/Abstract: The quality of attachment relationship which progresses in the early childhood has a strong influence on the personality development of a child. It is also indicated in the literature that secure attachment relationship affects the personality of the child positively. Therefore, the quality of parent – child relationship in the early childhood is quite important. The objective of this research was to specify the relationship between attachment and self-perception in 60-72 month-old children that attend preschool. The research was laid out as relational screening model and the research population was composed of 60-72 months old 140 children who were selected by convenience sampling method and who attended the kindergartens and nursery classes of primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education in Karabük province in 2016-2017 academic Year.
