EXPORT ORIENTED BOND CALLING INSURANCE/GUARANTEE, THEIR EFFECTS TO EXPORT AND IMPLEMENTATIONS

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to analyze “bond calling insurance/guarantee” and its effects to the export volumes of countries. For that reason, firstly literature on letter of guarantees (bonds) is included in this study. After that, this study explained how to handle bond calling insurance/guarantees according to the literature. In the next step, export credit agencies who provide bond calling insurance/guarantee product are being analyzed. On the other hand, all details which are related with such Export Credit Agencies have been collected. Also, it is included that how much bond calling insurance/guarantee programmes effect their countries’ export volumes by taking into consideration of three Export Credit Agencies. According to the related data; it seems that such programmes’ share in total export volume is not significant and further researches are needed considering the implemented areas and sectors of bond calling insurance / guarantees.
