Summary/Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to develop a scale that can determine the attitudes of prospective mathematics teacher towards algebra. So survey method is carried out in this study. The draft scale prepared for this purpose was applied to 362 prospective teachers who were educated at two state universities in elementary mathematics teacher education. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were done for construct validity. As a result, it is seen that the scale consists of two factors. The Cronbach Alpha value for the scale was calculated to be 0,93. It can be said that the scale is a valid and reliable tool for determining the attitudes of prospective mathematics teachers towards algebra.
