Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the economic cooperation between Slovenia and the states-successors of the Habsburg Empire: Austria, Czechoslovak Republic, Hungary and Poland. He analyses the level of economic relations within a wide economic and political context of economic policy, customs duties and trade agreements, and through the optics of a direct goods exchange and the transfer of capital, technology and people (labour migration, tourism).
