Summary/Abstract: The different identities within Anatolia continued co-exist until the emergence of the Russian-Armenian factor and cooperation in this region. There are many documents and witness statements showing how the Armenian’s activities were supported by Russia and outside forces. In this article, we wandered Siirt and its surroundings, and tried to document the Armenian atrocities from living witnesses and their relatives. Thus, we have produced a fine example of an oral history-based essay by comparing new information with historical events. Those elders who saw and heard the Armenian rebellions, alongside other Anatolians and Khojali witnesses who were exposed to the Armenian atrocity reported many a thing, all of which reveal the cruelty behind history once again. Armenians and their supporters have working systematically for many years in order to try and dominate public opinion. Hence, we need to revisit the genocide from the angle of Muslim Turks. I feel that as the number of such studies, witnesses, and resources revealing new information increases, the prejudices, legal, and political approaches will change in a more positive direction.
