Summary/Abstract: cher and his professional practice. The ideological preferences of the teacher were examined by K. Konarzewski’s questionnaire. From 130 examined teachers 10 bureaucrats, 10 liberals and 10 romantics were chosen and then they were interviewed. They were asked about their educational work with children of early educational level. Their pupils were examined by questionnaire “My teacher”. This questionnaire studied teacher-pupils interaction climate. The most favourable climate for social and intellectual development of pupils is in romantic teacher’s classes. The romantic teacher connects positive aspects of traditional teaching with progressive teaching and derives educational success. In romantic teacher’s classes, there are the warmest teacher-pupils interactions. The romantic teachers are also the most liked by their pupils. In bureaucratic teachers’ classes, the atmosphere of relationship between teachers and pupils is warm. Bureaucratic teachers create area class which is very safe and known through the established rules and in this way they meet needs of 9, 10-year-old pupils being in the stage of moral heteronomy. The children are the least afraid of their teacher in comparison to children from classes led by others teachers. The bureaucratic teachers are liked by their pupils. The very least favourable climate is in liberal teacher classes. The teacher-pupils relationships aren’t correct. There is a lot of aggression among pupils and numerous misunderstandings in teacher-pupils relationships. Pupils don’t like their teachers and are afraid of their teacher the most.
