Spanish Press and the Soviet Universe. ABC’s Approach to the USSR During the Franco Regime: the Vilnius case

Summary/Abstract: The article tries to provide the first overview of how the Franquist press wrote about the current capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, especially in one of the most representative media at that time: the ABC newspaper. Starting in 1939 and concluding with Franco´s death in 1975, the article depicts the representation of Vilnius in ABC. In such a way, the purpose of this article is to reflect not only on the main discussed topics, but also on the approach which gave these subjectsinformative relevancy.
