Summary/Abstract: The article presents the concept of the just war elaborated by Francesc Eiximenis (1327/32-1409), a writer and Franciscan friar, and one of the most important medieval authors of the Catalan language, which was exposed in the twelfth book (the Dotzè) of the Christian encyclopaedia Lo Crestià, dedicated to political-social issues.
