Summary/Abstract: The incidence of foot posture changes and the discomfort created by these changes is very high now, not only among the population but also in the case of sportsmen. The foot represents the final segment in the kinematic chain of the lower limb that opposes external forces. Biomechanics of the foot and ankle influences the ability of the lower limb to attenuate the forces acting on these elements. The lower extremity must distribute and dissipate compression, traction, shear and rotation strength in achieving the static balance or the walking phase. Inappropriate distribution of these forces can lead to abnormal movements that in turn cause excessive stress and lead to the destruction of connective tissue and muscles [1]. There are numerous methods that can be used to assess these posture changes and the problems these changes can cause. In this respect, we consider that the assessment and monitoring of foot posture with computerized techniques will lead to the optimization of the process of recovering the static posture disorders of this body segment. This assessment method provides reliable, rigorous and objective results. This paper proposes to present Presscam - a software by which foot posture can be assessed by analysing certain parameters. To achieve the goal, we monitored, with the help of Presscam software, the evolution of foot posture changes for four subjects, tennis players. The data presented show that this simple and effective method provides data that can be successfully used in the correct approach of the recovery process of foot posture changes.
