Summary/Abstract: If there is more than one person to accomplish any job, it is highly probable that one of them is the manager. It is not usually the case that an employee chooses the manager. However, it can be said that, in many cases, managerial expectation is important for an employee psychology, indirectly, for areas such as employee productivity, belonging, loyalty, and organizational citizenship, although it is not usually expressed. If the employees were given a choice, what kind of gender was the manager of their choice, and what were the reasons, tried to answer this question. The aim of this study is to try to determine the gender-oriented managerial preferences and reasons for the individuals who have not yet entered the job and to interpret these reasons in terms of effective management.
