Summary/Abstract: Websites are a vast research field for the linguists in general and the semioticians in particular. Our article intends to study the methods of construction of the home page of two French political sites, the UMP and the PS, with the aim of knowing the rules which govern them. We will try to find to which semiolinguistic criteria they obey and what are their main components.
