Summary/Abstract: The author analyses the way in which the state rights of Slovenia were manifested within the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs (the State of SHS). It existed from October 29 to December 1, 1918, its establishment being based on the secession of the Slovene nation from the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The author explains that these rights were manifested through federative and confederate elements of the organization of the state and establishes that a Slovene national state was actually formed within the State of SHS through the interaction of these elements. He draws attention to the fact that the formation of the Slovene national state within the State of SHS represents the first actual realization of the programme of the United Slovenia.
