Psychological Aid and Prayer for Internal Healing

Summary/Abstract: In the process of internal healing there are manifold factors that play important roles. The diversity of those factors illustrates the complexity of the human being, in which we find both, spiritual and biological elements. A special place is to be given to the psyche, which remains at the cross-roads of the whole composite, the human person. In this paper we will try to analyze the various methods of helping people to be healed internally. In particular we will seek to compare, in this context, psychological counseling with prayer as a means of internal healing. We will explain these different approaches, their methodology, aim and methods; we will illustrate respective differences and also discuss possible cooperation.
