Summary/Abstract: On the basis of original data the author analytically discusses the problem of political concepts of the middle classes, which have not been historiographicaly studied so far, with regard to the national and social problem of Slovenes in the old Yugoslavia. The two main streams of Slovene middle class politics i. e. the clerical and the liberal party are examined in detail. Other middle-class concepts of the twenties and thirties are also presented.
