The author analyses claimspursued by patients in cases regarding leaving a part of an instrument inside patient’s tooth bydental practitioner. The analysis leads to a conclusion that just the fracture of an instrument inroot canal of patient’s tooth does not prejudge the practitioner’s (medical institution’s) liability.However, some infringes taking place in connection to endodontic treatment process, may giverise to that liability.
