Summary/Abstract: This article presents a musicological and interpretative analysis of the Sonatina for bassoon and piano signed by V. Ciolac, which was not previously the subject of a scientific study. The creation referred to is of a particular interest both in terms of composition and interpretation, requiring an advanced level of interpretation. The author considers the characteristics of style,form and dramaturgy of the composition, highlighting the particularities of the artistic concept of the analyzed work. The article contains interpretive recommendations for both young performers and professionals helping to facilitate the understanding of the musical concept and interpretative difficulties.
