Summary/Abstract: The Nicaea council which took place in 325, resulted in the first formal creed in Christianity. This maybe why the Nicean Council has more value in the studies of early Christianity in Turkey. The most important decision occurred from this council was regarding the connection between the Father and Son in their same exact natures, simply referred to as homoousios (same substance). However, it is difficult to say that this term has drawn expected interest after council.
