Summary/Abstract: The paper was presented at the Yugoslav-ltalian symposium held in October 1980 in Trieste and Koper and deals with the standpoints of the political association Edinost in the struggle for the preservation of the national minority rights in the Fascist Italy and for such a policy of the Italian Communist Party towards the national minority problem as would acknowledge that the class struggle of the threatened national minority cannot develop without it being also a struggle for national liberation.
