Summary/Abstract: The article deals with issues related to the core of Christian humanism. The starting point of the deliberations is the historical heritage of humanism, which dates back to the Greek-Roman antiquity. Subsequently, the question of the influence of Christianity on the development of the new anthropology, that changes the spectrum of human cognition, is raised. Further reflection goes back to Christian humanism and is an attempt to justify the research issue included in the title of the article: “Christian humanism as the expression of an upgrade of the human person.”
