Summary/Abstract: The treatise is an analysis of the confrontation and the dialogue between the communists and the Christian socialists in Slovenia in the period between the two World Wars. The dialogue was the result of the specific political circumstances in the Slovene labour movement and cleared up some of the fundamental issues in terms of the formation of the United Labour Front (on revolution, on the position of religious followers in socialism, on political pluralism, on economic management, on democracy, individual freedom, etc.).
