Women’s Education as a Subject in Czech Historiography after 1989

Summary/Abstract: This contribution focuses on the subject of women’s education in the Czech Lands as it is treated in local historiography of the twentieth and early twenty-first century, with focus on formation of this research direction after 1989. The author presents the key works on the subject, source materials, methodological approaches, and the most important research results. She follows the continuity and popularity of this direction in historical research and its reception in Central European context.
