Summary/Abstract: This article presents a procedure for evaluation of the temperature of the steel element in a fire situation. The gas temperature in the fire compartment is given by the three nominal curves: ISO834, Hydrocarbon and Outer curve. The simple calculation model described in 4.2 of EN 1993-1-2 [1] is used. The proposed solution is based on the tables containing data for the temperature of the steel elements which are calculated with the VBA macros in MS Excel
