Summary/Abstract: The workers' educational society „Vzajemnost" was founded in Ljubljana on September 5, 1909, on the initiative of the writer Ivan Cankar. When founded it numbered 59 members. The society became the organizer of the ideological and political education as well as social activities of the workers of Ljubljana. With the help of the Ljubljana society brandies were founded in other parts of Camiola. „Vzajemnost" was founded also for Styria and Carinthia. Because of Cankar's speech „Slovenes and Yugoslavs" the society was disbanded on April 18, 1913.
