WAR AS A LITERARY EDITOR: (PRE)COGNITION OF WAR IN LYUBOV YAKYMCHUK'S BOOK OF POETRY APRICOTS OF DONBAS

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of Lyubov Yakymchuk's book of poetry Apricots of Donbas published in 2015. The author of the paper argues that the publication of the book fits into the current tendency to increase the representation of the Donbas in contemporary Ukrainian literature. The poems have been read in terms of the construction of time, relationship with tradition and modernity etc. The self-reference tendencies in L. Yakymchuk's poetry were considered separately as a strategy of the escape from the totality of the war.
