Summary/Abstract: Municipal government alongside with the regional Economic Care and Social Foresight Committee in Plovdiv during the First World War implemented the state policy on the supply, distribution and control of goods for the army and the population. The study includes new facts about the municipality, the management and the personality of the Plovdiv Mayor from 1914 to 1918. The article is the first publication on the activity of Economic care and social foresight committee in Plovdiv.
