Summary/Abstract: Polish scholars dealing with the history and history of the liturgy have so far ignored or downplayed topics related to the rituals of the Holy Mass and the English liturgical traditions of the day before the Reformation. It seems unfair, especially in the context of the study of the early Reformation in England and the sources on which new liturgical forms were founded, created at the end of the first half of the sixteenth century. The article aims to approximate the customs of the diocese of Salisbury and York and compare them with the new form of Mass prepared by Thomas Cranmer.
