Tasks of the municipality in the field of environment management – directions of changes

Summary/Abstract: The article treats about duties of local community, as regards managing environment and relevant directions of its changes. At the beginning, the difference between protection of environment and management of environment is explained. In the second part, there is a review of selected duties of local community in terms of managing environment. The final part contains conclusions and a reference list of literature and legal acts.
