Summary/Abstract: Wacław Fiedotow’s chronicle is a valuable source of knowledge of Old Believers cultural identity (of the Suwałki Region). In his chronicle W. Fiedotow collected various materials: scientific studies concerning the religious minority of Old Believers; correspondence with Prof. Leonid Pimonow; report of the debate of the All-Polish Council of Believers and Chief Council of the Old Believers; correspondence with scientists and researchers of the Old Believers’ culture; press clippings from the local writings about Old Believers written by Włodzimierz Kowalski; as well as his own reflection on current subjects. In 2011 W. Fiedotow deided to hand over (after his death) all volumes of the chronicle to the Old Believers’ parish in Gabowe Grądy.
