Summary/Abstract: The recipes were written in the women's hut of the concentration camp in Lichtenworth, by five prisoners deported from Budapest, on the verge of death, suffering from typhus, fleas and lice, starving, thin as skeletons. The recipes were discovered 62 years later by accident. The recipe book was saved for posterity by the only survivor.
