Summary/Abstract: The article discusses Ottoman coins of XIV-XV century discovered during archaeological excavations in the city of Plovdiv. The earliest known coin was minted during the sultan Murad I (1362-1389). The article includes ten copper and silver coins minted at the sultans Murad I, Bayazid I, Emir Suleiman, Murad II, Mehmed II and Bayazid.
