Summary/Abstract: Mulierum Schola Gregoriana Clamaverunt Iusti is a group with a 10-year history of promoting sacred music – the oldest monodic tradition of the Western Church. In addition to compositions from the Gregorian repertoire, the group chooses also prepolifonic works, including later compositions inspired by Gregorian chant. The proposed interpretation is based on the oldest available liturgical and music sources with a paleographic notation, in the spirit of semiological discoveries initiated by Dom Cardine. The concerts are an attempt at reviving and preserving the music accompanying the liturgy until the times of the Second Vatican Council.
