Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to show the fundamental principles governing social policy and their impact on professed values, motivations and patterns of community activities of community members. On the basis of empirical research, the author indicates the axiological roots, motivations and patterns of action of the surveyed inhabitants, seeing in their anomyous character the weaknesses of the local social policy.
