Perception of psychological comfort is defined as the perception of risk in which employees feel the extent of their sharing when they share their ideas and suggestions with his/her colleagues in the organisation. If this perception of risk is low, employees will head towards the behaviour of positive utterance in which they can declare their innovative ideas and suggestions for their organisations. However, if employees’ perceptions of risk are high, then they would head towards the behaviour of quitting the work. Design/methodology/approach – In the study in which the field research technique was applied, a questionnaire consisting of four parts was used. The universe of the study, consulting and tax services to companies operating in the field of audit and tax services office in Istanbul in Turkey are located in the department employees. The sample of research was determined by the sampling method of the research. 403 valid surveys have been acquired. Explanatory factor analyzes for the scales and regression analyzes were performed to determine the interaction between the variables after the sub-dimensions of the variables were determined. Findings – According to the results acquired in the study, while there is a statistically significant and positive relationship between psychological perception of comfort and positive utterance, there is statistically significant and negative relationship between the intent to quit and perception of comfort. It is observed that the impact of behaviour of positive utterance on the intent to quit is higher. Discussion – Accordingly, organisations should work with the perspective of positive psychology and reinforce the ties within the body to acquire high efficiency and performance. So the perception of psychological comfort should be spread and this perception should form the ground for the behaviour of positive utterance. In future studies, the topic will be discussed in different sectors and discussed in terms of profit and productivity will contribute to the literature. From this point of view, it will enrich the literature by discussing the subject in different sectors.
