Features of accounting information system

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of selection and presents a set of features that accounting information system (AIS) should have. First the paper presents the relationship between such terms as: accounting information system, accounting system, IT system. It also stresses the differences in the manual functioning of the accounting and using a computer. Then it presents a set of features that an information system and accounting system should have. Among those features there were selected and discussed those which are necessary for the SIR.
