Catalogue of Medieval Manuscripts of the University Library in Toruń. Principles of Description.

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the nearly seventy years (1949-2016) of cataloguing on collection of medieval manuscripts of the University Library in Toruń from so-called the protected collection (mainly from the former Public and University Library in Królewiec). It discusses principles implemented in 2005 for the purpose of describing the Toruń manuscripts, based on Catalogue Description Principles of Medieval Manuscripts of the Jagiellonian Library, and shows their practical application in descriptions of manuscripts prepared for the needs of Medieval Manuscripts Catalogue of the University Library in Toruń (The Nicolaus Copernicus University Press, 2016).
