The aim of the paper is to provide a strategic environmental analysis from the aspects of tourism and hospitality sector, by which the opportunities for improving the role of tourism sector in Libya are outlined. The first step of this development is to create a safer environment that is necessary for the development of different branches of tourism and hospitality sector, the second step is to make efforts for increasing the quality of services.
