Summary/Abstract: The fundamental objective of this research is to synthesize and analyze relevant data on the certain social structures relations towards persons with disabilities by reviewing available literature over the last twenty years. Society attitudes towards persons with disabilities in the regular educational system (inclusion) and open economy, the relations of society towards sexuality of persons with disabilities, public awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities are some of the topics that have been interpreted on several levels. The research results indicate that negative attitudes (pity, awkwardness, fear, low expectations, etc.) towards persons with disabilities still exist and limit them in all aspects of social life. In this respect, the authors propose diverse mechanisms for modifying attitudes, stigma and discrimination that could be in function of promoting the equality and social participation.
