Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to present music and musicality as aspects of Vladimir Nabokov’s prose, as well as his relationship with music. As is shown in this article, Nabokov’s literary texts involve at least three different aspects of music and musicality: musical terminology and titles of musical masterpieces, sound instrumentation combined with synaesthesia, and music used as a part of a story. For instance, in the short story entitled Music, it conveys some information related to the emotional state of the protagonist and determines the understanding of the title, as well as the whole text.
