Summary/Abstract: The present article describes transformations that have occurred in the last few years in the Kingdom of Morocco. They concern the Kingdom’s external picture which is a symptom to more profound processes occurring at the mental level of both the legislators and the citizens. Taking the western patterns connects with intense respect for tradition and law – which results in a modern Muslim country. The country, basing upon the trusted principles that are in accordance with Qur’an – adapts certain schemes functioning in the European states. The citizens by accepting these transformations begin to live in the fashion of the west – which may be observable on the example of people from Moroccan cities.
