Summary/Abstract: Drink-driving is a law infringement in the Czech Republic because alcohol has a negative influence on the competence of the driver to exercise the driving task. This article focuses on the alcohol interlock program which already exists in several member countries of European Union as a method to improve road safety and it brings up selected legal questions.
