Summary/Abstract: This article presents history of seminarian library in Drohiczyn (Diocese of Drohiczyn). The library started its work in 1957 when first students arrived at Drohiczyn for preparation to priesthood. During the Second World War all books from the previous library of Minor Seminary in Drohiczyn (Diocese of Pińsk) were stolen, so the collection was created from scratch. The collection was formed during hard times of communist power which interfered in Church activity. The present library consists mainly of theological, philosophical, anthropological and humanity books, among them publications on Orthodox Christianity, Russian history and culture. The majority of users are seminarian students, another group are outside readers, mainly religion teachers. On 11 July, 2018 the library was connected with Central Catalogue of the Federation of the Polish Church Libraries „Fides”.
