Bibliological Issues in the „Silesian Historical and Theological Studies”: A Study of the Problem in the Light of the Fifty-Year Jubilee of the Journal

Summary/Abstract: „Silesian Historical and Theological Studies” appear continuously since 1968, at first annually, and currently as a semi-annual periodical. Thanks to the editors, eminent Silesian theologians: G. Klapuch, R. Sobański, R. Rak, W. Myszor, S. Cichy, J. Myszor, J. Kempa, the paper maintains a high scientific level. The journal publishes articles, reviews and reports in the field of broadly understood theology and the history of the Church, although there is also no shortage of texts related to bibliology, librarian and press studies. Their presence on the pages of the Silesian periodical proves its interdisciplinary character. The wide spectrum of issues addressed provides recognition and appreciation of the journal both in local and national scientificcultural community.
