The Problem of Selected Disputed Border Territories in Sudan

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is the analysis of the contemporary situation in the area of four border territories of Sudan: Hala’ib Triangle, Bir Tawil, Darfur and Abyei. The main aim of this article is to define the influence of selected border disputed territories on the contemporary functioning of the Sudanese states. The author analyses the contemporary situation of Darfur, the Hala’ib Triangle, Bir Tawil and Abyei, referring to the division of borders and subordination of the territory.
