SURVEY OF OLOMOUC CAPITULARS AT THE TIME OF EPISCOPATE OF CARDINAL DIETRICHSTEIN AND ITS SOURCES OF INFORMATION
PŘEHLED OLOMOUCKÝCH KANOVNÍKŮ V DOBĚ EPISKOPÁTU KARDINÁLA DIETRICHŠTEJNA A JEHO PRAMENNÁ ZÁKLADNA

Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to describe sources for the history of Olomouc capitulars preserved till now, especially the fragments of records of Olomouc capitular sessions, conserved in the collection of capitular archives in the Olomouc branch of the Provincial Archives in Opava. One of its aims is to elaborate a provisional list of capitulars of Olomouc canonry at the time of Olomouc bishop Franz Cardinal von Dietrichstein (1599–1636), that would be able to serve as a starting point for subsequent research. Today historiography should not only refine bibliographical data of the list, but also attend to a broader social function of Olomouc canonry, a prestigious institution of Moravian life, especially to its political, economical and cultural influence.
