Some of the aspects of the providers of non - binding online dispute resolution

Summary/Abstract: Online dispute resolution provides an opportunity to resolve disputes quickly, efficiently and with minimum cost. The article defines the term of online alternative dispute resolution (online dispute resolution, "ODR") at the beginning and it describes various ways of settling the dispute. The main objective of this article is to introduce some providers of non – binding online dispute resolution. Each of these ODR providers offers different model of online decision - making and focuses on the different kinds of disputes. The paper presents the possibilities provided by online dispute resolution and its benefits. Some of the specifics of the Czech legislation related to non - binding forms of ODR will be briefly presented in the end of this article.
